Peel the shrimp and remove the tail shell. Place the mussels in the smallest pot you have, "preferably a non-reactive pot like stainless steel." Press down on the shell a little to crush it. If you don't crumble it in the pan, there will be too much liquid in the pan. Crushing the shell also brings out the flavor. Be careful not to cut your hand on the shell! I use the bottom of a plastic glass to break up the mussels in the pot. Pour in enough cold water to cover the bowl. Place the shrimp pot over medium heat, bring to a boil, then immediately lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir the bowl several times at this time. Do not cook for more than 10 minutes, as the fresh flavor will be lost. Strain the shrimp liquid and discard the shells. Reserve the liquid for a plate.
Using several different dyes on your pasta will make the process much easier. By switching dyes, you can quickly go from spaghetti to macaroni, linguini to angel hair, and more. There are small pasta machines that can make pasta by simply rolling sheets of dough. However, larger, more expensive machines are available that require less effort and make the job even easier. Most pasta machines have some sort of feeding mechanism where you place the dough and turn the handle on the other side to make the pasta. Slowly add the warm milk, stirring constantly until well mixed. Add the cheese and Tabasco and continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the entire mixture is smooth and thick. Place the macaroni in a deep oven-safe baking dish. Pour the cheese mixture over it and fold it in. Place in the oven at 200℃ and bake for 20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Heat oil in a large pot. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and simmer, uncovered, on low heat for 15–20 minutes. Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water.
