About Barkatulla University

The university, formerly known as Bhopal University, was established in 1970 in the capital of Madhya Pradesh. In 1988, it was renamed Barkatula Vishwavidyalaya in memory of the great freedom fighter, Professor Barkatula Vishwavidyalaya. Barkatullah was a player who played for Bhopal. Only the university publishes the Barkatullah University results on its official website, and results from other sources are not taken into account.

The university campus is spread over an area of approximately 360 hectares and is located on the Jabalpur-Jaipur National Highway (NH-12), approximately 3 km from Habibganj Railway Station. The university complex has different blocks for each faculty, such as the administrative block, life sciences block, library block, humanities and grammar block, social sciences block, applied geology block, and physics block. The university also has a guest house, a hostel building, a post office, a distance learning institute, a printing shop, a branch of the State Bank of India, and a faculty club. Other institutions, such as the Administration Building, the University College of Engineering, and the Faculty of Pharmacy, are also located within the university.
