One day, Ashwin (Dhanush) joins his company as a system administrator. As soon as Ashwin's girlfriend, Madhumita, saw it, she immediately remembered his previous life. She keeps nagging Ashwin about it and makes him believe it. Frustrated, Ashwin initially ignores it, but later notices aspects related to the story told by Madhumita. The strange fact is that Ashwin then investigates and discovers that his previous life's love story had a bad ending because of his current boss, Kiran (Kartik). Who is Kiran? What is the relationship between Madhu and Ashwin? Will Ashwin be able to find out the real truth behind it? That forms the rest of the story.

Strong Points:-

The acting of the leading couple is superb. Dhanush is amazing and looks different in every role. The way he did it for each character is very interesting. Of particular note is his clothing and performance in the role of Kali. Amyra supports Dhanush well and looks beautiful in the song. The chemistry between the two leads is also very good. The issues facing young people today were presented very well. The script was a big plus; all the scenes that appeared and disappeared over time were well executed. The production values are very high, and the film feels very rich. The first half of the movie is interesting, but it's interesting how the tension is maintained. Minus points:-

The climax of this movie is bland and unremarkable. The movie becomes very predictable once the plot twists are revealed. The rhythm of the film also stalls in the second half, and every scene is pushed to its lowest point. Director KV Anand comes up with beautifully constructed elements till the first half but loses control towards the end. Anekudu has no regular entertainment. It would have been even better if the ruler had added a comedy arc. The structure of the climax scene is boring and has no real flow. It has a bit of a Tamil flavor, especially when it comes to Burma. Aishwarya Dewan's character lacks the required impact. Harris Jayaraj's music is good enough, as all the songs are well written and well drawn. The background music is also appropriate and fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the movie. As mentioned earlier, the production values are of top quality, and the policymakers spent a good amount of money to make it look like a quality movie. The script is also good and manages to move you. Director KV Anand has put in a lot of effort and gets to the very heart of the film during the break. But once the plot is revealed, all his scenes become predictable and hinder the pace of the film.

verdict:-

Overall, Anekudu has an engaging story and some decent initiatives. Dhanush's great performance and difficult first half will be a key advantage. On the other hand, the predictable and lackluster second half spoils the movie's atmosphere. Finally, you can try movies when you have nothing else to do. His Telugu film Anekudu was released on March 5, 2015, but it did not meet the expectations of his fans. Also check out the Kushanam movie review.
